Melted trim or a break in?
The trim developed these dimples within a day, they were paired with a lot of finger prints on the doors and window. The car is parked on the street in a city, so it’s a plausible a break in. The counter argument is the dimples are uniform, in a pattern, and the surface texture is glossy so it could have melted from a sun light reflection? But it’s winter, so that argument is hard too.
Would be curious to know if the trim on the doors has failed like this for others. Thanks!
